Economic justice rooted in lived experiences

ECONOMIC JUSTICE BRUM | BIRMINGHAM

These 7 Huddles explored the part we can each play to build a fairer economy — through themes including child poverty, creativity, transformative economics, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), and more.

What we did

Designed and delivered a network of 7 peer learning groups anchored around themes of economic justice in Birmingham. Groups drew on a shared resource pot via Open Collective and gathered for a joint Showcase. This project is a live test of Huddlecraft's 'Ecosystem' model — multiple Huddles networked behind a shared city-scale mission.

What makes this different

The 7 Huddles remained connected to one another and to the wider Economic Justice Brum movement — a model for how peer learning can become place-based infrastructure, not just a series of standalone programmes.
