FOR LEARNERS
huddle-
in-a-day
A one-day immersive experience of Huddlecraft for people who want to make a difference close to home. Bring a question you're carrying and meet others doing the same.
Most of us carry big questions about how we might contribute. Beyond caring from a distance, how might we show up meaningfully to the places we live, the people in our lives, the challenges we see, the shifts we sense are needed. And in a way that gives us energy rather than drains it. Where we feel supported, rather than alone.
At the Immersion Day, you arrive with a learning question of your own. Something alive for you, without an easy answer. It might be deeply personal or practical, local or wide. A community challenge. A career pivot. A question about how to contribute to climate with the resources you have. A curiosity about composting or AI (or both). Whatever shape it takes, it's welcome.
Your peers in the room bring perspectives, experiences and strengths you don't have, and you bring ones they don't. It's a day of purposeful peer learning rooted in your local, built from who's in the room, and oriented towards what you'll do next.
-
Morning. We build a shared picture of the local, mapping the signals each of you are noticing about your neighbourhoods, your communities, the patterns you're seeing. Your learning question gets placed on that map, in relation to everyone else's.
Afternoon. Focus turns to your question, and to each other's. You'll reflect on what you have to offer and what you need, work closely with a buddy, and at some point the whole room gifts its attention to one person's question. Even if it isn't yours, something in that process tends to shed light on everyone's, not just the one being held.
We close with reflection, a next step, and an invitation to take the practice home.
-
A felt experience of peer-to-peer learning — a sense of its power and potential, and what it feels like when it’s done well
New perspectives on your question – and on the local context it sits in. Things you might not see on your own
A sense of what you bring — your strengths, your resources, the brilliant ways you’re able to support others
Connection to other local people — in-person and meaningful. A small group of people who now know what you're working on
A possible next step — sometimes a clear one, sometimes a small one. Not every learning question has a tidy answer, and that's part of the practice!
-
A group of up to 24 people, each holding a question they want to explore with others. You don't need experience of peer learning, or of Huddlecraft. You need to be curious, willing to contribute, and willing to listen.
Immersion Days are hosted by a Huddlecraft practitioner alongside a local host and facilitator.

A full day of facilitation, tea and snacks throughout, all materials. Lunch isn't included but our local host can point you to good options nearby.
-
Yourself and a learning question. That's it. We’ll even send you prompts to help you unearth your learning question if you don’t have one yet!
-
The Immersion Day is in-person. The relational and place-based nature of the practice means that we’ve put more energy in delivery in-person courses. If you’re interested in online courses, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!
-
Venue accessibility varies by location. Please check the specific dates and location, or get in touch and we'll share details. If you have access needs, dietary requirements, or anything we should know in advance, just let us know.

Yes! We work with organisations wanting to embed peer-to-peer learning in their culture and practices, and we’d love to deliver an Immersion Day for you. This is handled as a bespoke partnership rather than individual bookings. Head to Work With Us or get in touch directly to start a conversation.
ASK YOURSELF
is it for you?
✔ Is there a challenge — professional, personal or societal — you want to grow to meet?
✔ Are you willing to learn in non-traditional ways that puts you in the room as a peer, not a student?
✔ Do you believe change happens relationally — through people, not just ideas?
✔ Do you want to meet new people and connect with them in deeper, more meaningful ways?
