Overview

This is your opportunity to join a group of peers on a learning adventure: deepen your roots and grow a life where you thrive, in the vibrant city of Exeter.
What happens when a group of people intentionally set out to grow and deepen their roots together? By co-creating our own learning journey, setting up skill-swaps, sharing knowledge and meals, building networks and supporting each other, we will grow our connections to people and place. Together, we will create the kind of life we want to live in Exeter.

Is it for me?

Do you long for connection and community in Exeter? Are you someone who thrives on learning with others? Are you looking for something to ignite curiosity and purpose in 2023?
You might be new to the city, have an idea for a project you want to start, looking for something to push you personally or professionally, or perhaps you’re curious about peer-led learning. This is a space where we grow ourselves, together, each bringing our own learning focus that guides us for the duration. Join us on a collective exploration of what it means to create roots in Exeter.

Do it to...

1.

Make new, lasting and powerful connections with others in Exeter.

2.

Invest in yourself personally and professionally with a dynamic network of peers.

3.

Kick-start your 2023 with inspiration, accountability and support for the year ahead.

The Journey

We will design our collective learning journey together, and connect and collaborate in fortnightly meetups, which each participant will take turns to lead.
This Huddle follows Huddlecraft's tried and tested structure. We kick off with a weekend of connection and setting our learning intentions. Fortnightly meetups are combined with motivating peer coaching, we share progress and receive valuable structured feedback at Power Up days and to conclude we design a Showcase Event, that shines a spotlight on our learning. This journey will give you new knowledge, insight, skills and connections to fuel your life in Exeter. Full details of the journey are in the Info Pack - get in touch to receive it!

Your Host

Kate faces the camera smiling. There is a blue background.
Born and raised in Exeter, I’m a freelance facilitator working in the charity and public sector. My favourite things are the sea, my two cats, and dancing to Beyoncé.
I’m back in Exeter after a decade away (the call of the sea was too strong!) and I’m hosting this Huddle to deepen my roots and create what I long for… in-person connection, a trusted community, and a safe and encouraging space to learn and grow.
“Kate’s magic balances a tender warmth that can explode with excitement. It's so motivating and joyful: you’ll love it.”
